Gameday Thread, #32: 5/7 vs. Reds

Dave Williams, LHP (1-2, 7.61)
Orlando Hernandez, RHP (2-3, 6.39)

The battle of two not very impressive lines here. Williams did at least get a quality start last time out, which is more than can be said for El Duque. I think this one has the potential to be a high-scoring affair, at least compared to the first two games in the series. That could benefit the Reds, who (as noted below) lead the National League in runs scored. So far though in this series, we've scored runs without getting hits (Friday), and got hits without scoring runs (Saturday), so maybe today will mean hits and runs. Or, possibly, neither...

Getting this thread up early (or late, depending on your point of view - just came back, after picking Mrs. SnakePit up from the monthly Rocky Horror screening she runs), as I want to have a long, lie-in tomorrow, unencumbered by research into starting pitchers. A somewhat oddly-timed 1:40pm start means I'll get to be around, but only for a little while before work beckons. However, feel free to start without me, if the warm, fluffy pillowyness refuses to release me in time!
