We go for the sweep this afternoon, but I've a funny feeling this won't be as easy as Saturday. Given that was a franchise-record shutout victory, I doubt that counts as going out on a limb, prediction-wise. However, after the disastrous results of Cruz's last start - which I won't even mention - we'll be looking for something "slightly better" from him today, shall we say.
Hudson is probably not the kind of guy you want to face under such circumstances, but has not been the force so far you'd have expected, as his mediocre record suggests. The Braves had to use quite a sizeable chunk of their bullpen yesterday - I doubt Cormier or Villarreal will be available - and the way our team hit yesterday, I doubt they'll be feeling scared of anyone.
Should be around for a good chunk, but am off to see WWE's Judgement Day downtown around 3:45pm. Will hopefully get there just in time to avoid the crowds leaving the park, though if it's as quick as yesterday's game, it might get sticky...
