The Fighting Amish 4, AZ SnakePit 6
AZ held on thanks to solid batting, where they swept, bar SB's. The teams were light hitting (nine home runs in total) but had plenty of speed (18 stolen bases). Amish posted an ERA below one, despite Buerhle allowing seven first-inning runs yesterday.
Man of the Match: Halladay (AZ) - 2 W, 1.00 ERA, 0.50 WHIP
GregSchulteOverdrive 6, DFA'ders 3
DFA lead during the week, but couldn't quite hold it over the weekend. Each team managed 40 K's, but Greg's superior power proved decisive, winning HR and RBIs convincingly. DFA took wins, but Wagner's lone save was enough for Greg in that category.
Man of the Match: Rios (Greg) - 7 R, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 2 SB
Browncoats 3, Uk Dbacks 6
Browncoats were buried by an 8.92 ERA, but took K's thanks to Pedro's 20-strikeout week. Tejada and Howard were cornerstones of UK's offense, which delivered at a .321 clip, while Browncoats will feel the loss of Matsui.
Man of the Match: Feliz (UK) - 8 R, 2 HR, 5 RBI, .370
Random Fandom 3, JByrnesIsMyHomie 7
Fandom almost pulled out a shock in the ESPN game, but Byrnes fought back, with strong pitching, though most categories were close. Blake had three homers for Random, but Johnson's struggles in New York may be cause for concern.
Man of the Match: Holliday (Byrnes) - 5 R, 3 HR, 5 RB, .391
BigLebowski 6, KarateMonkeyDeathCar 4
Big bounced back after two wretched weeks to post a solid win over Karate, going 5-0 in the hitting departments. Isringhausen and Gordon has three saves apiece for Karate, who won most of pitching, even with a 5.45 ERA. Pettite gave Big their only W.
Man of the Match: Furcal (Big) - 6 R, 6 RBI, 2 SB, .346
?Chalino Sanchez! 4, BBTNG 4
Chalino had great pitching (1.11 ERA, 0.80 WHIP), but couldn't find the extra W or K that would have brought them victory - both categories ended in ties. The hitting was very close: 3 R, 1 HR, 2 RBI and .005 in BA was all that separated the teams.
Man of the Match: Pujols (BBTNG) - 8 R, 3 HR, 10 RBI, .429
The Loose Seals 8, 7-2 Offsuiters 1
Seals beat up on 7-2, whose pitchers managed a 5.63 ERA and no wins. Neither team did well batting, averaging barely .250, but A-Rod's three HR were the margin of victory for Seals. Fuentes had two saves for 7-2.
Man of the Match: Cabrera (7-2) - 7 R, 2 HR, 9 RBI, .346

ESPN's game of the week is ?Chalino Sanchez! vs. 7-2 Offsuiters, in a battle for respect at the bottom. Chalino have been hurt by inconsistent starting pitching, but Peavy looks to be returning to form; Ensberg's 12 HR leads their offense. 7-2 have been hurt by the loss of Sheets and Prior, but Delgado and Glaus have shown themselves very capable of knocking the ball out of the park.
