The first game at Chase Field is tonight - it seems kinda weird to announce the name change with three home games left in the season, but there you go. The Padres arrive, still in the catbird seat off the NL West, despite being exactly at .500, and not exactly playing like champs in Colorado, splitting a series and being outscored 33-16.

Neither pitcher has exactly been impressive in their past few outings: Astacio came back from injury fairly recently, while Vargas has benefited from lots of run support. Gonzo is a career .349 hitter against Astacio, in a large 63 at-bats, so let's hope he can join the CCT force and deliver some offense - largely missing in the Dodgers series.
