Cultural Diversion: iPod Shuffle

Or, at least, what I would have on my iPod Shuffle if I had one. ;-) Egged on by Random Fandom's list, this is the first 40 tracks that came off my hard drive when I selected my four- or five-star tunes. It's still something of a work in progress, in that I still have a huge bunch of unripped CDs, but I think the following covers most of the bases.

Sunset Now - Heaven 17
Poison (El Presidente 'Jetlyzer' Remix) - Beborn Beton
I Hate My Fucking Job (Imperative Reaction) - The Strand
P-Machinery - Propaganda
Hounds of Love (Alternative) - Kate Bush
Sympathy for the Devil (Anastasia) - Laibach
Amhran Comhrac - VNV Nation
Army Dreamers - Kate Bush
La Femme Chinoise - Yellow Magic Orchestra
Infected - The The
Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse (DJ Promo Version) - Propaganda
Temple Of Love (1992) - Sisters of Mercy
The Things That Dreams Are Made Of - The Human League
PTF2012 - VNV Nation
Verbotenland - Hansel und Gretyl
Attacked By Snakes! - The Aquabats
Sandy Face - The Aquabats
Let the Planets Burn - Hansel und Gretyl
Civil War (Vogt Scope Mix) - Funker Vogt
Rubicon - VNV Nation
Overpass - John Foxx
Young Savage - Ultravox
Dirty - Hard Corps
Beloved (Grey Dawn Version By Vnv Nation) - VNV Nation
High Energy Protons (Orion Mix) - Juno Reactor
The Inevitable Return Of The Great White Dope - Bloodhound Gang
Show Me - ABC
Tour de Force - Covenant
Is There Something I Should Know? - Duran Duran
Devil Bunnies - My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult
Me to Be - I am the World Trade Center
Rock Lobster - B-52's
Surface Patterns (Mission Control mix) - Front Line Assembly
Shout - Devo
Colombian Necktie - Front Line Assembly
Doubting (Dance) - The Strand
Master and Servant - Depeche Mode
Der Meister - Rammstein
Blue Monday - New Order

A mix of 80's synthpop and more modern industrial, with The Aquabats sticking out like a sore thumb. But I like my music to be leavened with humour: hence Laibach and the Bloodhound Gang. There should probably be some They Might Be Giants on there too, but as I said, this is still a work in progress. Now, what I'd "really" like to do, is put my DVD jukebox on random, and see what are the first 40 movies (there's 200+ in there) that it spits out... But think I'll save that for another week!
