Would you...

Trade Steve Smith (car) and Tony Gonzalez for Jason Witten and Torry Holt?

I feel like Witten will have a 100 rec year, but is the jump from Gonzalez to Witten that huge? I am in a PPR league.

Torry Holt has better numbers of his career compared to Steve Smith, but is this the same Torry Holt from even last year? Was it all the quarterback change that messed Holt up? I know that Steve Smith is Jake Delhome's favorite option. He even forces it to him most of the time.

What do you think?

Trade Help

Should I trade Colston for Witten straight up? Its obvious that witten is the better option because he is actually playing right now and colston is not...but second half of the season and playoff time i might want to have colston in there. When Colston comes back (week 7?) will he be himself or will the finger still give him problems? Should i do this trade?

My team right now is

QB-Peyton, WR- Reggie Wayne, WR- Steve Smith (CAR), WR- Colston, WR- Antonio Bryant, WR-Robert Meachem, RB-Mcgahee, RB-Slaton, and TE-donald Lee

Question...

I just had a fantasy football draft the other day. I decided to take schaub (steal in late round) because of how great he looked last year when healthy.

I am not a texans fan, but I have always been a big demeco ryans fan. The man comes to work every week and dominates.

My questions are...

1. How successful do you think schaub will be this year?

2. If I own schaub, is sage a worthy handcuff?

3. Whats the running game looking like for this year? Ahman green cant possibly play the whole season. Slaton seems pretty exciting.

What are the expectations for...

Radhames Liz? It looks like he has big strikeout potential. The number of walks might be something to worry about. He had a decent 2007 in AA.

I am in a 20 man roto league. In a league this deep it is absolutely worth it to take a risk with someone like Liz (esp when my only good pitchers are saunders, eveland, and owings).

Any info on other guys in the minor leagues the O's might call up later on?

Orioles fans...you make me sad

You have an amazing stadium. This town has a great history of baseball. You have several exciting players and decent pitching this year. GO TO THE GAMES. An average attendence of 25,000 this year is good for 21st in MLB. It is pathetic to hear cheers from the crowd when the opposing team does something positive. When I heard a highlight of Manny Ramirez hitting his 500th HR on espn tonight I thought the game was played in Boston based on the reaction of the fans. Go to Camden and at least pretend you care...

Snyder heating up

I've got to give a lot of credit to Chris Snyder's performance lately. When Snyder made an adjustment late last year he started showing some offense. What I saw last year made me think he could be a sleeper in this year's fantasy draft. After a slow start to the season, Snyder has really picked up his game. Anyone would be glad to take .279/.387/.471 from the catching slot. Just wish Montero didn't get so much pt.
