Just something I threw together...but it's not saying that I don't support Punto. I think it is a great thing to have him on this team, but that pricetag is getting pretty high.

Should the Vikings Move to a Single Wing Formation?

What do you think, guys? The retro single wing formation, for those who haven't read the latest issue of SI, works best with more than one able running back who can run and throw. While Peterson may not be the best passer in the league, Taylor's duck against the Saints showed promise. :)

Should the Vikings move to a "Wildcat" formation and forget Frerotte?

If you care to read more of my opinion on this, please check out VikingVigil.com later in the week. I should have something up by then.

Until then, however, please discuss whether or not the single wing formation would work in Minnesota.

Minnesota Vikings’ QB of the Future - Matt Cassel?

VikingVigil doesn't think Gus Frerotte is the long-term solution in Minnesota. They take a look at the underdog in the race for a new quarterback: none other than the new leader of the New England Patriots - Matt Cassel.

What Football Is Really About

I originally wrote this on my blog, VikingVigil, but I thought you would enjoy it here as well. It isn't directly about the Vikings, but I don't think that matters. After all, we're football fans after Vikings fans.
