The Diamondbacks cruised to the tune of a 6-1 record over the past week. Although the bullpen looked a bit stale at times, the offense woke up and started to produce. Another six games are in the books and the D-backs saw plenty of action along the way. Barry Enright was sent to Triple-A, a four hour game was won against Colorado, and the Hudson/Kennedy duo outperformed the now renowned Haren/Weaver duo. Unfortunately, the offense could only muster 3.2 runs per game during the stretch and the team would ultimately limp away with a 2-4 record.

The D-backs split the last six games with some impressive play. On the other hand, some disappointing pitching and a collective team batting avg. of .226 prevented any chance at posting a more appealing record. We saw quite a lot of action since last Wednesday with the D-backs going 4-2 since the last edition. Arizona scored 13 runs on two occasions and tallied a total of 45 runs during the six game stretch. Kirk Gibson almost turned into the Hulk and Juan Miranda hit his first home run with the team.
