Just time to get this up before we scurry off to try and find somewhere to park. :-) However, I want to go on record as being responsible for the D-backs win today, as I've added Jason Marquis to my fantasy team. That should guarantee he sucks. :-) Padres are almost dead in the water as I write (down 14-1 to the Phillies!), so a win here would almost certainly put us back to three games ahead, which is how we entered the series. I'd settle for that, certainly. Let's just hope Petit, and more importantly, our offense, is up to the task.

Error by CoJack on throw to first advances Theriot to 2nd.  Without the error, possible double play with Jones batting next followed by Lee's popup out would have gotten Petit out of trouble.  Instead 2 errors for AZ and 3 runs for Chicago.  

When oh when will CY be moved down in the order.  Some of those solo HRs could be 2 and 3-run homers.

Doug Parker had a problem

What bugs me about Airbus....
And I don't want to cause a US-Europe rift here, but it bugs me that Airbus never has to pay for its faults and failures since it's continually receiving subsidies. Anyone remember 15 years ago when Boeing was contemplating leaving the airliner business? They had to claw their way back.

To be fair, Airbus was very gracious and congratulatory when Boeing rolled out the 787. (As was Boeing, when Airbus rolled out the A380)
