Not much time to write here; we've a big event at the Paper Heart Gallery tonight - Romantasy, a kinda vaudeville, burlesque, carnival sideshow sort of thing. Not quite sure what our role is supposed to be, beyond having been the ticket sellers for pre-sales. I'll be lap-topping, so may be able to check in from there, if the chance permits, but it's all a bit vague. This one could go either way, I think; Lowry beat the Yankees last start, but Davis gave us a quality start too. Ok, let's see: an Arizona win, and a San Diego loss, will put us back on top again, so let's go for that.

Looks like I missed a lot too...

Neither pitcher kept their shutout past the first inning - not even the first <u>out</u> in Lowry's case. Could be a lengthy night...

Eight in a row set down. He's found his groove nicely. Could do with a 1-2-3 inning for Davis, as I can hear the bullpen wheezing from here...

There was ONE out when we scored, and Lowry sent down seven in a row before Hudson's single. Sigh. Not actually being able to see the game, makes commenting on it kinda hard...

Looking at the question on the site about Byrnes

I think we should keep him until the season ends. Where would our offense be without him? Hudson is doing well and I expect CoJack to pick up a little. Young has had some big hits. For the most part Byrnes has been our offense.

It's odd to realise

Davis has actually allowed fewer hits than Lowry thus far: it's the five walks in four innings that have been the problem.
