Updated: 08-16-11

Still waiting for any late breaking news to trickle in but in the meantime it looks like our 2011 draft has been finalized. The D-backs have officially signed 39 of their 52 draft picks.

Diamondbacks Day Three Draft Picks

Not much today as far as the reports go from me, as, to be honest, most of these guys probably aren't destined for greatness.  Still, every now and then you can find a Clay Zavada (30th round), Damion Easley (30th round), Alex Cintron  (36th round), Junior Spivey (36th round), or Kyler Newby (50th round) - guys who have or could play minor but necessary roles on a big-league club - on the third day of the draft.  Here's a look at this year's crop of long-shots:

Diamondbacks Day Two Draft Round-Up

Yeah, more draft headlines.  Just one round-up today, where I'll attempt to go over the entire day two of draft picks for the D-backs.  Don't have much info for most of these guys, but there are definitely a few names to be excited about from the crowd picked today.

Diamondbacks Select RHP Archie Bradley with #7 Pick in MLB Draft

After the jump, a quick look at the newest newerest member of the D-backs, with more to come later.  UPDATE: With Chafin and Bauer down, time to crank out this Bradley write-up, then a minor-league report, then off to surf the intarwebz for Day Two buzz.  I love MLB Draft season.  :-)

Diamondbacks Select RHP Trevor Bauer with #3 Pick in MLB Draft

After the jump, a quick look at the newest member of the D-backs, with more to come later.  UPDATED: Now that the Supplemental Round is over and Chafin's report is written up, I've found time to get back to this report and put up a more official (read: less repetitive) report on the #3 overall pick in today's Day One of the 2011 MLB Rule 4 Draft.
