Passed Phoenix Muni a bit ago: serious tailgating going on, with the car-park pretty full, considering there was over an hour before first pitch. Shame you can't tailgate anywhere for Chase Field games. Mind you, tailgating in an Arizona summer...

Another sold-out game at Salt River Fields. Brandon McCarthy gets to welcome his team-mates to Salt River Fields: can we build o the momentum of the shutout victory before yesterday's off-day?

The D-backs take part in a rare evening game, against the Brewers at Salt River Fields. There's also a webcast, so you can tune in to that. This one will be Scotsman-free. :)

It's split-squad day, as the Diamondbacks spread themselves kinda thin, with games at Salt River Fields against the Rockies, and over at Peoria against the Reds.

First spring-training game of the season for myself and Mrs. SnakePit, as we head off to Salt River Fields for what is apparently a sold-out game against the Cubs.

Another day of busy baseball action. The main D-backs squad travel to take on Oakland at Phoenix Muni, there's an interesting B-squad game, and we'll be going to Chase for the USA-Canada, loser goes home, WBC match-up.

The D-backs take on the White Sox at Salt River Field this afternoon (weather permitting), and there's also more World Baseball Classic action, with Canada facing Mexico at Chase Field.

There's a pretty significant chance the D-backs game will be rained out. However, the WBC contest between Italy and Canada kicks off a few minutes after noon at Chase Field, so we can certainly talk about that....

Down the I-10 for a bit go the Diamondbacks, visiting the Brewers in Maryvale, and hoping to get a win, something they have managed only once in the past five pre-season games. The WBC games in Arizona also start, with Italy taking on Mexico at SRF.

FRENCHIE! And, yes, he is in the line-up, batting fifth. So if you go, say hello to him for us! Hopefully, this one will go rather better than the last time we faced Kansas City.
