Spring Training: Gameday Thread, #32, vs. Giants
Let's just see if we can get through this one, without anybody else being removed, whether it's as a "precautionary" measure, or for any other reason except it being spring training.

Hope you enjoyed yesterday's off-day. The next one will be Sunday - MLB Opening Day! We've been alternating wins and losses since a week past Sunday: will the streak continue?
Last weekend game of the year for the D-backs at Salt River Fields - next Saturday's is at Chase Field - and a packed house will be present, including myself and Mrs. SnakePit. Looks to be a perfect day, with a high of 73. Let's get it on!
The results have been better of late for the D-backs. Going back to Sunday's double-header, the team are 5-2 in seven games, though still haven't broken through the .500 level since the first day of March. Another chance to do so, in Surprise.
The Indians, again? I have my reservations about that... Patrick Corbin starts for Arizona, trying to lock down the fifth starter spot.
Ian Kennedy looks to follow Brandon McCarthy's six inning outing yesterday, and we also see Martin Prado in the outfield.
So, the first game of the post-John McDonald era takes place today at Camelback. Former A's Brandon McCarthy and Brad Ziegler take the mound. Espect "Johnny Mac would have got that" comments on any infield hits...
Can the Diamondbacks get back above .500 and extend the winning streak to four games?
We face the Dodgers again this afternoon, with both teams back at full strength, as opposed to yesterday's split-squad encounter. Hopefully, the result will be the same.
There'll be Diamondbacks across Arizona this afternoon, with a split-squad pair of games against the Padres and Dodgers, in Tucson and Scottsdale respectively. The former game is on Fox Sports Arizona, so will likely be the focus of chat action.
