Dbacks announce they have retained RHP Brett Lorin by trading RHP Robby Rowland to the Pirates. Lorin was a Rule 5 pick who wasn't in position to make the team. Rowland was a '10 draftee. Rowland was looking at another year in extended. Wasn't slated to open year in South Bend rotation.

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced the following eight roster moves: Optioned right-handed pitchers Sam Demel and Barry Enright and outfielder David Winfree to Triple-A Reno; Optioned right-handed pitcher Trevor Bauer to Double-A Mobile; Reassigned right-handed pitcher Chris Jakubauskas and infielder Rusty Ryal to Reno; Reassigned right-handed pitcher Charles Brewer and infielder Matt Davidson to Mobile; The D-backs now have 37 players in Major League camp, including 7 non-roster players.
