Good, tough conversation on a variety of topics including Chip Hale, the state of the D-backs and the upcoming MLB trade deadline.

ESPN Deportes is reporting former Diamondback Karim Garcia was assaulted during a robbery over the weekend in Mexico. He apparently got a broken nose and broken ribs after being pulled from his truck on Saturday night. It's probably going to knock him out for the rest of the season - while he hasn't been in the majors since 2004, he has continued to play pro ball around the world, most recently in the Mexican League for Saraperos de Saltillo.
Of course, to Diamondbacks fans, he will always be part of the most lopsided trade in franchise history, when he was dealt for Luis Gonzales plus cash!
158 seconds of perfection.
[I'm just amazed they're getting Randy Johnson on the Twitter...]
Yeah, not everyone likes the new uniforms: even Rob Lowe. Here's the team's response to all the criticism.
Matt Buschmann finally made the majors last night after toiling away in the minors for ten years. Here's his reaction [large version] - "That debut was not for me, but for all the people that helped me along the way"
Addison Russell's bat flew out of his hands at Chase Field and narrowly missed taking out Baxter. This was our friendly, affable mascot's reaction!
The much beloved Joe Garagiola Sr., who passed away last month, will be honored by the team wearing a patch on their uniform this season. Definitely approve of this move.
