Baseball-Reference.com preview [opens in new window]
Thanks to the wonders of technology [though there will be some finger-crossing on my part!], this is being written in Phoenix, but by the time you read it, we'll be in LA. With this being only a two-game set, our run of series victories has ended, but we can still take a split if we win this one. Edgar takes the mound, and even if he represents the back end of our rotation, he has still probably pitched better than Billingsley - 20 K's in 14.2 innings is nice, but less so when accompanied by eleven walks.
Keys to the game, with apologies to soco:
- Edgar making sure the ball stays in the park
- Justin making sure the ball stays in his glove
- Chris making sure the ball is put in play
- Eric making sure the ball goes more horizontal than vertical
