Ryan Court continues to hit like a man possessed as his recent promotion to Visalia can attest.

The five-game win streak of the Diamondbacks came to an end tonight. Cliff Lee pitched well, and a late chance never materialized for a D'backs loss. Trevor Cahill also pitched well, but couldn't go past five innings and took the undeserved loss.

Both starting pitchers were good, unfortunately Cliff Lee was gooder, and the Phillies offense was able to tack on some runs against the bullpen to pull out the win despite a chance in the ninth.

Trevor Cahill has been good. So has Cliff Lee. The Diamondbacks have a five-game winning streak. The Phillies don't. Some of these things will remain true by the end of the evening. Others will...

The last time the Diamondbacks won six in a row, was August 2011. That's what they'll try to do this afternoon, but have to go through the Phillies' ace to get there.
