Miley may not have got the win in his last five starts, and has just one W in eleven, but he has recently shown a big improvement, with his last three appearances resulting in a K:BB ratio of 25:1, over 20 innings of work. He had a 3.60 ERA over that time, but that's partly due to four long-balls (all in the same game), and partly down to a BABIP of .346. He has deserved a better fate, but maintaining the good control he has shown of late, will certainly help and the Diamondbacks to restrain an Astros offense which has done a good job of hitting, against both Brandon McCarthy and Josh Collmenter. Maybe Wade should ask Bronson for tips.
