"I've had a rough patch the last couple of weeks," Campana said. "I think it's just getting down there and figuring it out at the plate a little bit. I think that's it. Just start swinging it a little better and hopefully come back."

"They're not stupid; they know that we're talking to people, we're considering every option," Hall said. "It's tough on them, and again, at this time I want to focus on these two and say what a professional job they've done.

Bronson Arroyo and two relievers held the punchless San Diego Padres to three hits and Aaron Hill hit a two-run single to lead the iamondbacks to a 2-0 victory Friday night in a matchup of the bottom two teams in the NL West.
Finally over his health problems Bronson Arroyo on Friday pitched the way the D-backs hoped he would when they signed him this spring. Arroyo tossed seven shutout innings as the D-backs beat the Padres, 2-0, at Petco Park.

Inciarte got the call Wednesday to report to Phoenix for that night's D-backs-Rockies game, but his flight was delayed twice, then cancelled and his next flight was delayed, too.
