The BayBears crushed Mississippi 15-0 to capture the North Division championship series 3 games to 1 and will play for the Southern League title starting Tuesday. Mobile will attempt to capture their third consecutive title and have their rotation all lined up to go. Archie Bradley will pitch Game 1, David Holmberg Game 2, Andrew Chafin Game 3 and most likely Bo Schultz in Game 4 if needed.
Both Visalia and South Bend lost yesterday and each sit at one game apiece in their respective divisional championship series. Visalia is engaged in a best-of-five series, while South Bend will play a winner-take-all game with Aaron Blair taking the mound for the right to play for the Midwest League title.

Double A: Mobile 15 Mississippi 0. Mobile put an exclamation point on this series early with a 9-run 3rd inning and the rest of the game was a celebration jaunt. Bo Schultz went 6 strong shutout innings allowing just 1 hit and 3 walks to earn the win. The big inning included a double, 6 singles, 3 walks and 2 wild pitches. Ender Inciarte had 2 hits in the inning and Nick Ahmed had the double which drove in 2. Dustin Martin went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI as every starter scored at least 1 run.
High A: Visalia 0 @ San Jose 2.The Rawhide lost a squeaker with Ketih Hessler putting up a good outing to keep the game close. He went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 5 hits and a walk while striking out 5. Brad Allen followed and surrendered a second run in the 7th. San Jose sent top Giants prospect Kyle Crick to the hill and he was dominating with 7 shutout innings on 3 hits with 8 strikeouts. Visalia threatened to steal the game in the 9th when Jake Lamb singled with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, but Evan Marzilli was thrown out at the plate. David Peralta walked to load the bases but Tom Belza grounded out to end the game. Eddie McKiernan is scheduled to start Game 3 tonight.
Low A: South Bend 2 Fort Wayne 5. The South Bend bullpen surrendered 4 runs late and lost their first playoff game in 4 tries. Robert Coe started and was very good as the teams went to the 7th tied at 1-1. Henry Garcia pitched a 1-2-3 7th but when the manager tried to extend him into the 8th things unraveled. The first four batters got hits in the 8th off Garcia and that, as they say, was that. Top draft pick Hunter Renfroe homered and tripled for Fort Wayne. Bandon Drury did the same for South Bend. Game 3 is scheduled for Monday night in South Bend.
