AZL Rookie League Pitching

I went to compare this years AZL pitching stats to the previous 3 years of stats by the D'backs AZL teams. The 2013 team really stands out with their stats showing low ERA's, WHIP's, and high ratio of K's to BB's. Now, this is comparing numbers to former AZL pitchers who are now either at AA, A or Missoula for this season, or no longer with the organization. A couple of individuals stand out who are from this year's draft class. B. Keller: Excellent record, low ERA & WHIP [under 1.3], lots of quality starts, high K/BB ratio. 8th round pick. Doran: Record not as good but more of the same stuff with starts, very low WHIP for a starter, and K's to BB's ratio of 10/1. Free agent. Furney: more of the same as above guys w/WHIP at 1.17, went 7 IP in first start this week. I believe he and Doran were Free agent signees this June. Byo: Reassigned from NWL, BP guy, very good numbers, OBA around .200. 33rd round pick. Jeter: Struggled at Missoula, but has been lights out since being assigned to AZL. 0.00 ERA, WHIP below .70, very good K/BB ratio, OBA of .145 in 10+ innings. Also, very gaudy GB to FB ratio of 15.00. He has allowed one ball out of the infield, a bloop single. 25th round pick. Do you think this understated draft class of pitchers might be some diamonds in the rough? Does an initial performance at this level project well for the next couple of seasons to come? Didn't see any numbers from any group of previous AZL pitchers that came close to thiese guys.
