The Washington Nationals had released Chris Snyder (who knew?) recently, and the Los Angeles Angels & their intelligent GM, Jerry DiPoto, signed Chris to a minor league deal today, with an invitation to Spring Training. If Chris does not make the Major League roster by Opening Day, Chris can opt out of the deal...however, there's a good chance Chris may turn up as Chris Iannetta's backup, since the Angels feel Hank Conger is not ready yet.
