The Diamondbacks tonight made 15 roster moves to the various minor league teams. Among them are Josh Booty, Charles Brewer, and Chris Owings.

The full list via the @dbacks Twitter feed.

Josh Booty, winner of MLB Network's "The Next Knuckler", was indeed given "a chance" to pitch in a real game. He pitched in a B-squad game against the Giants last Sunday morning. He faced six batters and allowed two runs in his outing.

Other notables on the list are Nick Ahmed, who was filling quite well in for Aaron Hill while he was ill; Charles Brewer, who had a very outside chance at a starter's spot and certainly impressed; and infield prospect Chris Owings, seen as the only other decent shortstop prospect not named Didi Gregorius.
