First spring-training game of the season for myself and Mrs. SnakePit, as we head off to Salt River Fields for what is apparently a sold-out game against the Cubs. On a Monday afternoon? Don't all these people have jobs or something? Hopefully, there'll be a bit of lawn left.

Slightly-worrying bit of news: Wade Miley has been scratched from his start in tomorrow's game. At time of writing, there's no more information than that. Admittedly, it probably pales in significance beside the news that Zach Greinke has also been scratched from his pre-season start, and is heading to Los Angeles for an examination of his elbow.. Greinke supposedly "told the team that he's dealt with similar elbow issues in the past, but they never kept him from making a start." Wonder if he mentioned that before signing the six year, $147 million contract with the Dodgers?
