The hands of Miggy - USA TODAY Sports
Ok, technically this is only Gameday Thread #5, but since there were two games covered by that, I'm going with #6, even though one of them was a tie and won't appear in our overall W/L record. The headache which resulted from all yesterday's chaos appears to be coming back... Anyway...
Free webcast of the play-by-play online for this afternoon's contest, available through Dbacks.com, as Steve Berthiaume and Geoff Munn cover the action from Salt River Field as Brandon McCarthy enters a game situation for the first time since... Well, you know. We won't flog that particular dead horse any further. Here's the Diamondbacks line-up for today's game, which gives them a chance to push their spring record above .500 for the first time.

Gerardo Parra, CF
-
Martin Prado, 3B
-
Aaron Hill, 2B
-
Jason Kubel, LF
- Miguel Montero C
- Cody Ross, RF
- Eric Chavez, DH
- Kila Ka`aihue, 1B
-
Cliff Pennington, SS
+ pitchers Brandon McCarthy, Nelson Figueroa, Starling Peralta and, one suspects, more.
Good to see Montero back in the line-up after his thumb was attacked by a pack of kittens, or something... Miggy jokingly told Steve Gilbert, "he had to get back in the lineup so he didn't get Wally Pipped." Admittedly, the way Rod Barajas has come out of the starting gates that's a real credible faint dammit for the sake of an interesting narrative, completely non-existent possibility. Still, good to see him back in the line-up.
