I knew this day would come...that my boy Geoff Blum would leave the game of baseball as a player and would make the move to becoming a broadcaster...and he is doing just that. He did a few stints in the Arizona Diamondbacks booth last season after the Diamondbacks released him and I think he did a fantastic job. Now, he will be doing this with another of the teams he played for, the Houston Astros, and I know he will be happy and do just as well as he did in his few stints in our booth last season. Formal announcement to be made soon by the Astros.

I'll miss my Surfer Boy but wish him the absolute best!
