DBacks 0, Giants 6: Arizona Offense Goes Quiet

The Diamondbacks offense was held silent by Matt Cain and the Giants bullpen, held to seven hits on the night. Wade Miley struggled against the San Francisco, not helping his Rookie of the Year candidacy, on a night full of defensive errors by both teams. Miley only managed to complete four innings, giving up four runs (three earned) and taking the loss to go 16-11 on the season. Miguel Montero and Gerardo Parra were the only offensive bright spots for Arizona, combining to go 4 for 7 with a walk, but the rest of the team couldn't do anything against Cain to bring them in to score.
