On Sunday night, I went to see the movie "Trouble With The Curve", starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, & John Goodman at the Chandler Fashion Center Harkins Theater.

Storyline: An aging baseball scout named Gus (Clint Eastwood) is asked by Pete, his boss/closest friend of 30 years (John Goodman) to travel to North Carolina and scout a high school player named Bo Gentry. In the meantime, Gus's vision is deteriorating, causing him to trip over and run into things. He visits his optometrist, who tells him that he's showing the signs of macular degeneration and possible glaucoma. Stubborn as he is, Gus won't accept the doctor's advice and storms out of the office. Worried, the doctor calls Gus's daughter Micki (Amy Adams) and gives her the news. Micki is a workaholic lawyer-to-be, trying to get on with a new firm and tackle a major client case.

Upon the urging of Pete, Micki travels to North Carolina to make sure her father is okay. Enter Johnny Flanagan (Justin Timberlake), a hotshot young scout and former Red Sox pitcher, who is also there to scout Bo Gentry.

Also in the mix is Matthew Lillard, who plays Phil, the obnoxious Atlanta Braves GM, who keeps trying to force Gus into retirement.

I won't tell you anything further about what happens in the movie, because I don't want to ruin it. I will tell you this: There's a lot of comedy in this movie, as well as drama. This is a good baseball movie and I think you will enjoy it.
