The first round of post-season games took place, though the top two sides in both the champion and consolation tournaments sat this week out. Here's what went down.

#11 seeds Complete pulled off an upset, with an easy victory over #10 Blonde, taking four points in both pitching and hitting. They hit .325, with Rizzo's two HR and nine RBI leading the way,. Lester struck out 12, and the Shutout had a collective ERA just above three. Blonde got three Saves from Valverde.

Sofa King Juiced 7, soco knows 3
The other consolation game went to #9 seed Sofa, over #12 team soco. Sofa's pitching staff rebounded to early season form, sweeping those points with a sub-one WHIP and 2.58 ERA, with Darvish and Haren each getting a W + nine K's. Peavy had a W + 15 strikeouts for soco, and Youkilis had three HR.

The Fighting Amish 5, Phoenix Platypi 5 [Amish win tie-breaker]
The #6 Platypi looked set for a stunning victory over the #3 Amish, surging to an early 9-0 lead. However, the Amish slowly clawed their way back, with eight R and three HR from Beltre, and four Sv by Soriano. Parker notched two W and Posey had two HR + seven R for Platypi, and this ended deadlocked. However, in week 13, Fighting edged Phoenix 5-4, and that was the tiebreaker.

Ignatius J. Rallies 6, MyWieterGetzLongoria 3
The Rallies got three HR and nine Runs from Rollins, with two HR + seven RBI from Butler and Alvarez, to power their way to a solid edge at the dish, despite Granderson's four HR for Wieter. The Longoria came back in pitching, with a W + 16 K from Kuroda, but a 6.35 ERA likely doomed them to defeat.
