This game will bring the Diamondbacks to the two-thirds point of the 2012 campaign. Having gone 25-29 in the first third, the team has definitely stepped up their game in the middle stretch: we've gone 30-23 with one game to play. A win would be very nice, pushing us to 5-1 on the week, and setting a good tone as we head off for what looks like a tough stretch, and could be a season-defining series of games against the Pirates, Nationals and Cardinals. We saw yesterday that Roy Halladay was not quite as past it as his season numbers would have you believe, and I'm just hoping we don't have to suffer more of the same from Cliff Lee this afternoon.

A different look to the line-up today, with an opposing left-hander on the mound. That means Young is back in the line-up and Blanco gets to start in place of Miguel Montero. Remember how we picked up our first series sweep since 2007 in Los Angeles earler in the week? Well, a victory here would give the Diamondbacks their first series victory in Philadelphia since 2007 as well. Been a bit of a house of horror since, with a record of 3-11 there, but I've got a feeling we might just crack it this afternoon, if we can get Cahill through the first inning.
