Back home to Chase go the Diamondbacks, and a ten-game homestand against the Marlins, Padres and Reds, which has the potential to define our season - in that, if it doesn't go well, it'll probably be the end of it. We likely will catch up some ground against the Giants or Dodgers, but not both of them - they're playing each other, so while it'd be nice if they both went 0-3, I suspect that isn't going to happen. Being honored before first pitch tonight will be Olympic Silver Medalist Brady Ellison, part of the archery squad who got the first medal for Team USA in London. If a few misfires were to go into Baxter's face this evening, 25,000 witnesses would see nothing...

Parra and Drew get the night off with a left-hander on the mound. Kirk Gibson said in his pre-game briefing that Josh Collmenter threw on Saturday and will throw again tomorrow, at Salt River Fields. However, it seems he is still some way off returning, and there's no date scheduled for that at present.
