Lots of teams off last night so not too much to talk about. Archie Bradley was scheduled to pitch but South Bend was rained out. Mobile and Visalia had travel days. So let's look at which of our teams are in playoff contention in the second half. The Reno Aces lead the PCL Pacific North Division by 7 games over Colorado Springs and look to be in good shape to make the playoffs, especially if Bauer and Skaggs remain in the rotation. Mobile is having a pretty bad second half but they won the first half so they're already in the playoffs. Visalia didn't qualify in the first half but they're only a game out in the 2nd half so they're definitely in the hunt. South Bend did not qualify in the first half and they're 3.5 games out of a playoff spot in the second half with lots of teams competing for those spots, so they have a little work to do. Yakima won the first half so they're already qualified for the playoffs. Missoula did not qualify in the first half but they are tied for first place in the second half so they're in a dog fight. The AZL Dbacks are 9 games out of first place and are not going to make the playoffs.
