I am a big fan of Kirk Gibson, but the constant change of lineups seems to stop players that are on a roll Paul Goldschmidt comes to mind right off, it reminds of little league where everybody gets to play. Here in the big league shouldn't the best players , play and set only when they are hurt or the match up favors the sub. Players should always be ready to play I agree but why sit a player on a roll.
