A lot of gnashing of teeth about the bullpen, but I think what's probably been overlooked in today's loss, is that the Arizona offense managed exactly no hits over the final 25 outs. Their last hit was Miggy's RBI single with two outs in the top of the first, which drove in our second run. We thought it was all going to be so easy then, didn't we... Ah, how the baseball gods laugh in the face of such pride. Here's Kirk Gibson, Ian Kennedy - who did, at least, run his unbeaten streak to a dozen games, despite some struggles - and Brad Ziegler.
