As last season, we're opening up a weekend slot for anyone who wants to try their hand at recapping a D-backs game for the SnakePit. This has proved to be a lot of fun last time, and we enjoy hearing all the different styles, approaches and voices reporting on these contests. If you haven't done one before, it's really just a case of reporting on the game: you can be as serious or snarky as you want, bury us in statistics or discuss the way the players wear their socks, it's all good. One of our shiny editors will add the Gameday Thread roll-call and the Fangraph, so you can concentrate on the game. We'll also push it to Google News and Yahoo! so you can show it to all your friends and family!

Dates available in April are as follows (start times Arizona)

• Sunday April 22nd vs. Braves, 1:10pm - SenSurround
  
• Sunday April 29th @ Marlins, 10:10am - jjwaltrip
  

Note that the first one is a Satuday, since Wailord's conventioning that day, we shuffled the schedule about a bit to cover. If you want to sign up for any of them, just pipe up in the comments to claim a date. It's basically first-come, first-served on these. I'll update the post with names as we lock games down. You'll then get an email a day or two before your scheduled date from me, with more info on what to do. But any questions for now, feel free to ask.
