ESPN's MLB Future Power Rankings

The Dbacks are ranked 8th, best in the NL West. The ratings take a look at the current MLB roster and upcoming prospects as well as the financial situation going into the next 5 years.

Going into the future the Dbacks are set up nicely. I don't personally have ESPN Insider, so I don't have all the info but it's nice to see how quickly the team turned it around and the fact that the future hasn't been sacrificed for short term success.

How did you see that they are number 8? without insider?

and if someone does have insider access, would they be willing to send me a copy of the complete article? I’m very interested in all the rankings 1-30 but unfortunately do not subscribe to Insider.

I don’t know the rules as far as posting pay-to-view stuff like this on here. It was just the rankings though, none of the breakdowns and all that.

I know this convo died out a while ago, but the only reason the D’Backs are in eighth and not higher is because of financial uncertainty. They have a great base of players but we all know free agency is going to kill that base soon enough.
