Just heard the news about former Cincinnati Reds infielder Ryan Freel, who died at age 36 of a self-inflicted gun shot to the chest yesterday. He left behind a wife and 3 young daughters. I'm betting he was suffering from depression. He'd suffered many concussions and it seemed like he just couldn't get it together after suffering his last one in 2009. Such a sad turn of events!
My heart goes out to the Freel family & the Cincinnati Reds.
