The Giants and A's both head into tonight's contests down two games to none. Can either team extend their series?
Previously, on How the Postseason Turns....
Nationals 4, Cardinals 12 - It was like a Home Run Derby in St. Louis last night - the Cardinals hit four home runs and Washington hit two. Nats starter Jordan Zimmermann allowed five runs in three innings, and his bullpen didn't keep it there. It was 8-4 going into the 8th inning, and the Cardinals added four more runs off of Sean Burnett to put the game out of reach for Washington. Series Tied 1-1.
Yankees 2, Orioles 3 - Ichiro Suzuki scored probably the most acrobatic run you'll ever see in the first inning to give the Yankees a lead. Baltimore came back with two runs off of Andy Pettitte in the third, and they never relinquished the lead. Jim Johnson easily locked down the save this time, striking out A-Rod to end the game. Series Tied 1-1.
