After a 2-0 victory Thursday night, San Francisco has taken a 2-0 World Series lead into Motor City. Can the Tigers find some mojo and give the Giants a run for their money?

Game 2: Tigers 0, Giants 2 - I think that was the game that was supposed to be the Game 1 matchup, but Justin Verlander imploded instead. Thursday, both Madison Bumgarner and Doug Fister pitched very strongly. Fister took his game into the 7th and was pulled after giving up a single to Hunter Pence to lead it off. With no out and the bases loaded, Detroit played for the double-play, and got it, and Pence scored. One run was enough, though the Giants added a sac fly in the 8th. Bumgarner pitched a full seven innings, giving up just two hits. Santiago Casilla and Sergio Romo took care of it from there. Giants lead series 2-0.
