I was just watching Tim Kurkjian on ESPN, who said he reckoned tonight was the greatest regular season slate of games in the history of baseball. Hard to argue with that. While the Diamondbacks couldn't quite repeat last night's heroics - and, to be honest, seemed to be phoning this one in for much of the time - they did score five in the ninth, to finish the regular season on a high note.
