• [Phoenix New Times] Dbacks 2011 Highlights Countdown Starts Here With Last Night's `Miracle' Win Over Dodgers - A lot more highlights this year than last, or even the past two combined, it seems. It's been a great season, and now let's see some more in the postseason.

• [South Bend Tribune] Silver Hawks: Haley in middle of Arizona party - Eleven of our current players spent time on our South Bend team, and the SilverHawks manager was in the dugout to see the team clinch the NL West division last weekend.

• [Detroit Free Press] TV analysts sing praises of Kirk Gibson - At this point, who isn't? I mean, I'd think we should hire someone to keep whispering "All glory is fleeting" to Gibby, but I'm pretty sure he's immune to the hype about him.

   - "I'm not sure it could have worked out any better." I can't imagine how it could have.
