The time is now. The Diamondbacks will not have as good a chance to pad their win total as they do for the next four games. They are going up at home against a team currently on pace to go 58-104, who have lost 23 of their last 31 contests, including 14 of 16 on the road. Really: failure is not an option. We need to play the role of Amazonian piranhas, with the Astros playing a horse with a nosebleed, that rolled in a pool of BBQ sauce, immediately before toppling into the river. Feasting time!

Yes, I know half of this team is the B-squad. No Miguel Montero, Gerardo Parra or even Willie Bloomquist [I guess that makes Ransom part of - actually, largely comprising, the C-squad]. It should still be enough. If it's not, I'll be very, very disappointed. And since I'm writing the recap tonight, we don't want that, do we? I'm already pissed off, having wasted 90 minutes watching a piece of cinematic excrement entitled Born to Ride, simply because we know a couple of people in it [a good chunk was shot here in Arizona]. And if you know my cinematic standards, it takes a lot for me to call something irredeemably awful like this was. I'm hoping it's not an omen for tonight...
