?Hear that? It's the winds of opportunity blowing past the Diamondbacks. Last night and tonight, we were presented with a pair of gift-wrapped chances to take the lead in the NL West. But our inability to get hits off a debutant pitcher, and some sloppy play all-round, doomed the D-backs to another day in second place. We now have to beat Clayton Kershaw to avoid getting swept at home by Los Angeles, though at least we do have our own ace going up there. With Kirk Gibson sitting out this game sick - maybe he had a vision of what was to come - here's stand-in Alan Trammell, followed by Joe Saunders and Paul Goldschmidt.
