Win tonight, and first place is Arizona's. That's the situation, thanks to the Pirates gleefully clubbing OMGZSanchez this afternoon in San Francisco, with the Giants getting hammered 9-2. But can the Diamondbacks take advantage? That's a whole different question: will the heart-stopping victory last night have given them any momentum, or will facing another major-league debutant cause problems, as it did against the Dodgers over the weekend? Can Collmenter come back after two horrible outings? So many storylines possible, but the only one that matter is getting the W and clambering over the Giants.

After last night, I'm optimistic this line-up should be good for a few runs. It all depends whether Collmenter has turned back into a pumpkin or not. This Astros line-up has scored 18 runs in 18 innings this series, on thirty hits, so they've shown themselves to be no patsies.
One statement after last night's GDT [and I am seriously biting my tongue]. You used up the entire quota of pic for the series last night. Thus, none at all are permitted the rest of the series. And I'll be adopting a Joe West-ian approach to any violators, so do not even try. SRSLY.
