Overall, it was a step in the right direction. I left a few pitches up in the zone that were hit for extra-base hits, but still kept the team in the game and we had a chance to win.

Probably went about as well as I expected, especially after I saw the line-up. Just got back, am uploading pics as I speak, so a SnakePitFest report will be up shortly. In the meantime, here's Kirk Gibson, Duke, could-be here turned goat Micah Owings and a long chat with our #7 pick Archie Bradley, who was at the game this evening, and got a loud cheer from the crowd.

I’m pretty much already in love with this kid. I had a chance to talk with him for a few moments on Friday; and he’s so excited to be joining us. I’m thinking he’s going to sign.

I have to agree that he's signing
