It's About Time!: GALARRAGA DFA'D!!!
Well, I said last night that they should DFA his sorry arse...and it has happened...which now leads to the question of who will they bring up to replace him? I say BRING BACK BARRY ENRIGHT!!!
I am just glad to hear of Galarraga The Horrible's DFA: he deserves it for as lousy as he's been. Sorry to rant, but it's only true!!! He's been awful and his stats prove it, as well as his chew-out session to the media the other night suggests. Good riddance, Gala-Caca!
BEAT THE BRAVES!!!

Seriously though
this kind of celebration and mocking of Galarraga seems a but over the top. A bit much in my opinion. Yeah he has not been good. And yeah he melted down, but who of us hasnt also? Only trend here I see is his pitching being bad, not him personally.
I got nothin'.
Who hasn't melted down?
WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT? OF COURSE I HAVEN’T MELTED DOWN BEFORE YOU MINDLESS MACHINE MASQUERADING AS A REPORTER. I WILL SHOVE YOUR FACE INSIDE OF A USED CATCHERS MITT IF YOU DON’T WALK AWAY RIGHT NOW!
(I do agree with your point though)
Bad doormat! No stock options!

I at least
don’t hate him because of him as a person. I just hate him because he has become the face of everything that is wrong with the back of the rotation.

Did I say I didn't like him as a person?
No…I think he’s a good guy personally…but as a pitcher, he’s been a bust :(

Your post definitely
didnt indicate anything close to you liking him. Like I said, it seemed like a bit over the top. I am even starting to feel bad for the guy now.
I got nothin'.
I know I was a bit 'over the top'
I posted this after hearing the news of his being DFA’d and I know I should have worded my thoughts much differently.

For someone who admired
A replacement level batter in Augie Ojeda, you sure are harsh on Galarraga. Yeah, he pitched poorly but I don’t think that warrants the kind of reaction that you gave. He’s a decent pitcher, as his career 4.69 ERA shows, he just didn’t do well this year.

I like Augie
mostly because of the fun chant there was when he came to the plate. Augie! Augie! Augie! Oy! Oy! Oy!

And that awesome catch he made against the Cubs (I think) in the play offs.
I got nothin'.

I was harsh on him as a pitcher, yes
But then a lot of people were also…I don’t dislike him as a person…

He gave us a few wins before he left.
If you'd have been a dog.....
They would of drowned you at birth.
Yes he did
It was actually crushing to see him go down in defeat down the stretch. Hopefully he’ll get things going again and be back
