SnakeSounds: April 30th, vs. Cubs

PHOENIX, AZ - APRIL 30: Justin Upton #10 of the Arizona Diamondbacks high fives teamamte Russell Branyan #33 after Upton scored a first inning run against the Chicago Cubs during the Major League Baseball game at Chase Field on April 30, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Just not making a good pitch with two strikes on a guy. Getting ahead, not being able to finish them off... The split just wasn't sharp tonight.
-- J.J. Putz
And so it goes. The Diamondbacks are now 8-6 facing teams at or above .500, 3-8 against those with losing records. The Rockies can't get here soon enough. I think there's few things more annoying then losing to a mediocre team like the Cubs, especially when you're a mediocre team yourselves. And now we find ourselves having to win tomorrow to split the series. Grrrr... Here are the thoughts of Kirk Gibson, Ian Kennedy, Stephen Drew and Putz.
