This Saturday the Arizona Vintage Base Ball League will be hosting its league championship tournament.  If you've been wanting to check out vintage base ball, then this is a perfect time to do it.  4 teams, double elimination (first to 3 wins): games will stretch from 10am until 5:30pm (the last game is scheduled to start at 4).

Where:  El Oso Park at 75th Ave and Osborn

When: Starts at 10 (full schedule below)

Who: NW Valley Prospectors (starring our own kishi), Glendale Gophers (includes BattleMoses and I), Phoenix Senators, and Bisbee Bees

It's a winner take all tournament to crown the 2010-11 Champion of the AZVBBL.   So if you're free, come out and root on some local teams (but especially the Gophers).

Schedule:

2 Opening Round games at 10:00am 

2 games (1 Winners Bracket, 1 Losers Bracket) at noon

1 Losers Bracket game at 2pm

Championship game at 4pm
