According to Lewis' personal Twitter account, the right-hander has signed with Arizona. Details of the contract, per MLBTradeRumors, are that Lewis would make $675k in the major leagues on his split contract that includes an invitation to Spring Training. Over parts of the four seasons in the majors, Lewis has worked 198 innings, all in relief, with a 3.68 ERA, 116 ERA+, 8.0 K/9, 3.9 BB/9, 34.5% GB%, and 1.0 HR/9. In 36.1 big-league innings with the Indians in 2010, Lewis posted a 2.97 ERA with a 7.2 K/9, 4.7 BB/9, 30.4% GB%, and 0.2 HR/9. He didn't pitch in the majors in 2011, working just 28 innings at Triple-A Columbus with underwhelming results, posting a 5.14 ERA and 22:15 K:BB ratio.
