Jack Magruder reports the team will exercise the 2012 options on Henry Blanco and Willie Bloomquist, and decline the one for Aaron Hill. However, Hill "still seems very interested in returning... Towers has had exploratory talks with Hill’s representatives on a long-term deal that would come at a lesser per-year average and would secure the position for several years. If the sides cannot agree, Ryan Roberts could move to second base, Towers said."
